Coloured Jars!!

We have all been there...the felt tip check day!! What are you going to do with the dried felt tips??

Here is an amazing idea I came across months ago but didn't try out til now..

YOU WILL NEED:

Empty baby jars or any jar with a lid

dried felt tips

hot water

perhaps a hammer to take out the dried ink

1) Bash the felt tip to extract the ink and put it into a baby jar and add hot water.

2) Add the lid and shake and leave on the windowsill..

very pretty!

Try with two different colours...

This is red and blue..which looks green...

...and purple when held to the light Subhaan Allah!!

Handling creepy animals...

We had the oppurtunity to handle a snake, a gecko and a tarantula...

Number recognition and counting.

Subhan Allah! It is amazing what ideas come to you whilst breastfeeding...

1. Have numbercards ready from 0 - 9. (We have these blue tacked on the disused fireplace)

2. Ask your child to bring them in any order as follows..

   "Can you find number 3?" Once they identify number 3, "Put number 3 on the baby chair"

3. Once the numbers are all distributed, the child can recall where they put them. "Can you find the numbers? What number is it?"

4. Put the number on the floor and collect ? Number of house items.

Take pictures and produce a book!!
